I thought, like a lot of us, some of you would like a deeper understanding of the “Armor of God.”
A brother in our Thursday night bible study has spent many years (40+) delving into just that.
Most Christians say they put on the Armor of God, but do they understand the full benefits and ramifications of that?
Brother Bob Lanning is a great friend and a humble servant of God, and he wants no credit and stresses; this is only his opinion. But isn’t all commentary, no matter the author, “just” an opinion?
I believe Brother Bob hit the nail on the head, and if we all make a concerted effort to live by the following, what a better world this would be.

Honesty
No denial
Your reality
Brestplate of righteousness
Protect the heart, belly, and groin
From low blows
Taking full responsibility
No blame
Your righteousness
Shud with the readiness of the peace of the Gospel
Quick to make peace
The first to pursue peace wherever there’s conflict
Love to be at the root of all interaction
The authority of forgiveness
“Shield of faith”
to ward off the fiery darts of the Enemy
Faith to get saved by
Faith to live by
Faith to endure by
Faith to overcome
“Helmet” of salvation
No vain imagination
No presumption
No sticking thinking
No rage
No hate
No lust
No yearning/coveting
No inferiority
No superiority
No arrogance
No pride
No carnality
No flesh
Death to the flesh and life in Christ
Live/transform me:
As a servant
As a child
As the least
As the last
As the youngest
Others centered
Lead by example
Humble
No reputation
Not lording it over
No Force
No blind ambition
Human likeness
Obedient
Death–on the cross
“Sword” of the Word
God help me with the reading of your Word:
To understand your Word
Be full of your Word
Manifest your Word
Obey your Word
Abide in your Word
Walk by your Word
I hope this helps to strengthen everyone’s walk with the Lord and brings more understanding of the Word. I bet when you put on your Armor of God, your mind will go to something you read herein, and a different feeling will come over you.

Lord, wecome to you with humble hearts and a longing to know you more. We ask for Your forgiveness and the strength to do better and to walk in Your will.
Our country needs you desperately, and our leaders need to seek your guidance. Lord, I pray that the evil be found and brought to light, and all eyes opened, and hearts brought to You. I pray true justice be done. We need a miracle now!
